At Afro Disiak, we take great pride in offering handcrafted, artisan-made pieces. Each item is created with care, intention, and cultural artistry. Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not offer refunds. However, we are happy to assist with exchanges or store credit where applicable.

Beaded Surface Care

• Spot clean only.
  Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to gently wipe the beaded areas. Avoid rubbing, scrubbing, or soaking the beads.

• Mild soap only if needed.
  If deeper cleaning is required, mix a tiny drop of mild soap with water, dampen a cloth, and dab gently. Do not apply soap directly to the beads.

• Avoid moisture.
  Do not submerge the clutch in water. Excessive moisture may weaken the thread or loosen beads.

• Pat dry immediately.
  After spot cleaning, pat the area dry with a soft towel and allow it to air-dry completely before storing.

Leather Body Care

• Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust or surface dirt from the leather.

• Condition occasionally.
  Apply a small amount of leather conditioner to a clean cloth and gently moisturize the leather to keep it supple.
  (Avoid getting conditioner on the beads.)

• Keep away from oils, perfumes, and harsh chemicals as they may stain or damage the leather.

Storage

• Store in a dust bag or soft pouch when not in use to protect the beadwork.

• Keep the clutch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

• Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it to protect the beaded pattern and shape.

General Care Tips

• Handle with care to prevent snagging or pulling of the beadwork.

• If a few beads loosen over time, this is normal with handcrafted items. We recommend taking it to a local tailor or beadwork repair artisan for re-threading.

• Avoid overloading the clutch to preserve its structure.
