General Care

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

• Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the bag to maintain its shape.

• Do not overfill, as this may stretch the natural fibres.

Cleaning the Woven Elephant Grass

• Spot clean only.
  Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the woven areas.

• For deeper cleaning, use cold water only and lightly dampen the surface—avoid soaking the bag.

• Allow to air dry completely in a shaded area.

• If the weave becomes misshapen, gently reshape while slightly damp and let it dry naturally.

Caring for the Leather Handle

• Wipe the leather with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust or dirt.

• Condition occasionally with a leather conditioner, applied sparingly with a soft cloth.

• Avoid contact with oils, perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals that may stain or damage the leather.

• Keep the leather away from excessive moisture.

Storage

• Ensure the bag is completely dry before storing to prevent mould or mildew.

• Stand upright to help keep its structure.

• Due to the natural materials and handmade nature, slight variations in colour, shape, and texture are normal and add to the bag’s unique character.

• Avoid prolonged exposure to water, as elephant grass can weaken when soaked.
