‘Deka’ means one (in Ewe). The symbol of Siamese crocodiles sharing one stomach signifies that we all share a common destiny as one people, yet we fight. The symbol is a reminder that infighting and tribalism/ racism is harmful to all who engage in it. When we work together as one people, we can build a better future together. From the colours chosen to the careful placement of the symbols, our Deka pieces were designed to inspire unity, strength and togetherness.

Turn your socks inside out before washing.
Why? Sure, the socks may look dirty on the outside, but it’s even more important to get rid of all the odour-producing bacteria and skin particles on the inside as well. When it comes to the wash cycle, you can err on the side of caution and choose a gentle cycle if you don’t want to use a regular cycle. But, always have a look at the manufacturer’s specifications beforehand.
Spoiler alert: even sweaty socks get clean at 40℃!
